Officials in the president’s administration met on Wednesday to discuss community-based violence intervention programs and other evidence-based programs. Domestic Policy Advisor Susan Rice and White House Deputy Public Engagement Director Adrian Saenz led the virtual meeting that included leaders of nonprofits and educators and focused on reducing gun violence and making communities safer.

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan recently spoke with National Security Advisor Hermogenes Esperon of the Philippines, affirming the U.S.-Philippines Alliance and recognizing the 70th anniversary of the Mutual Defense Treaty. Mr. Sullivan also spoke with the incoming National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Steven Lovegrove in preparation for the G7 virtual summit that will take place this week.

President Biden is expected to remain in Washington, D.C. at the White House today. He will take part in a COVID-19 briefing but has no other events on his schedule at this time.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For God to work through the president’s administration to accomplish His peace and purpose in America.
  • For National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan as he builds relationships with other nations and offers the president security recommendations.
  • For God to accomplish His will through the U.S. participation in the G7 leaders summit.
