President Biden Takes First Retreat to Camp David

Spent time with his children and grandchildren over the weekend.

After the completion of his first three weeks in office, President Biden traveled to Camp David the traditional vacation destination for the president. The compound is located roughly 65 miles away from the White House. Every president has utilized the retreat since Franklin D. Roosevelt. The location gets its name from Dwight Eisenhower who named it after his father and his grandson.

Before leaving, President Biden informed reporters that he intended to “just hang out with the family and do what we always do” while spending time at the retreat center. His granddaughter Naomi posted a video of them playing Mario Kart together. The president also spent time focusing on national issues – meeting with national security advisors and signing an Executive Order that reestablished the Office of Religious Engagement.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would accomplish His purposes through President Biden’s administration.
  • For the Secret Service agents as they to protect the president.
