On Monday, the president awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Congressman Devin Nunes of California. Nunes has represented the 22nd congressional district of California since 2003 and has previously served as the Chair of the House Intelligence Committee. The congressman has distinguished himself over the years by the investigations he has launched or pursued regarding terrorism and corruption.
