Dr. Fauci Sees “Glimmer of Hope” In Vaccine Distribution

Believes nation could see 100 million people vaccinated by the summer.

As the nation continued to increase the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines around the country, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, stated that he was hopeful about tackling the spread of the virus. Government health officials announced on Sunday that nearly 4 million doses have been administered so far.

Dr. Fauci said he saw “some little glimmer of hope” as the vaccines rolled out, and stated that he believed the goal of distributing 100 million doses within 100 days is within reach. Dr. Moncef Slaoui, the chief science advisor for Operation Warp Speed, also indicated that 17.5 million doses of the vaccine had already been shipped and would be ready for administration soon.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the Lord to give health officials wisdom on the distribution of vaccine doses.
  • For wisdom for the president’s administration in addressing the ongoing pandemic.
