Surgeon General Expresses Concern over Thanksgiving Travel

Urges avoidance of holiday gatherings.

The U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams made a call to Americans to avoid all large gatherings during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. He also cautioned the public against participating in large gatherings indoors during the Thanksgiving holiday.

The White House is planning to host a party, which sends a different message in this season of thankfulness. The first lady’s chief of staff assured the press that the White House would take the appropriate safety precautions to assure that none of the guests would be in danger of contracting the virus.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For God to bring an end to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • That God would help the Surgeon General to be effective in improving the health of all Americans.
  • For God to help the White House handle the pandemic well.
