President Trump to Pardon Turkeys

Corn and Cob received celebrity welcome to White House.

Keeping with tradition, President Trump welcomed two turkeys to the White House Sunday. They were greeted by a red carpet and paparazzi. The two birds are named after Iowa’s pride and joy—Corn and Cob. They have checked into the Willard Hotel across from the White House where they will stay until they receive their presidential pardon on Tuesday.

A message from the White House revealed the turkeys’ personalities. “Cob likes to play pickleball and wants to see the monuments in Washington, D.C. Corn loves college football and hopes to visit the Iowa State Fair one day.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump, Vice President Pence, and their families to have a blessed Thanksgiving.
  • With gratitude for the traditions that make up the Thanksgiving season.
