President Donald Trump will be participating in a virtual Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation economic leaders’ meeting today.

The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) was established in 1989 as a multilateral economic and trade forum to assist its interdependent members in promoting prosperity in the region. The 21 members of APEC facilitate the trade of goods, services, investment, and the movement of people across borders with streamlined customs procedures and synchronized regulatory systems.

The cooperative membership has no obligations to agreements and voluntarily commits to projects and initiatives that increase sustainable and inclusive growth through economic integration in the region.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For wisdom for the president as he interacts with members of APEC in the virtual meeting.
  • For U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer as he works on trade policy.
  • For the U.S. economy and workers as coronavirus restrictions have once again been implemented in several states.
