President Honors Veterans at Arlington Ceremony

Wreath placed at Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Marking Veterans Day, President Trump attended a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump as well as Vice President Mike Pence and Second Lady Karen Pence.

In his official proclamation issued before the ceremony, the president said, “On Veterans Day, we pause to pay tribute to all who have proudly worn our Nation’s uniform. These Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Coast Guardsmen selflessly placed lives, well-being, and security of others before their own.

“We enjoy the privileges of peace, prosperity, and freedom because of our veterans, and we are forever indebted to them beyond measure,” he said.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For America’s veterans, their health, safety and well-being, as the nation honors their service.
  • For families whose loved ones have paid the ultimate price serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
