Today, President Donald Trump will be holding campaign events in Pennsylvania. In Hanover Township, he will give an address to American workers from HoverTech International, a company that manufactures medical supply products. The president will then host rallies in Lititz and Martinsburg.

A key election topic in the state of Pennsylvania has been that of hydraulic fracturing which extracts natural gas from shale. This process of “fracking,” that environmental conservationists oppose, has gained the United States energy independence for the first time since 1957.

Energy production, particularly regarding fossil fuels and the belief that they contribute to climate change, was a key subject in the final presidential debate last week. Former Vice President Biden said he wanted to transition away from the use of fossil fuels in the near future. In response, President Trump expressed concern over the destruction of the oil industry if such a policy were implemented.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For discernment for President Trump as he speaks in Pennsylvania.
  • For safe travels for the president as he appears at multiple events today.
  • For God’s will to be accomplished regarding energy production and environmental protection in the U.S.
