President Clarifies Statements on White Supremacy

Reiterates condemnation of all white supremacists.

Following the first presidential debate, in which the moderator questioned the president’s stance on white supremacy, President Trump directly condemned white supremacy once more. He said, “I’ve said it many times, and let me be clear again: I condemn the [Ku Klux Klan]. I condemn all white supremacists. I condemn the Proud Boys. I don’t know much about the Proud Boys, almost nothing. But I condemn that.”

The president had said, when asked specifically about the Proud Boys, they should “Stand by and stand down” and let law enforcement handle the violent demonstrations. The president also expressed his concerns about left-wing groups including anti-fascist groups. “Antifa is a dangerous, radical group,” said President Trump.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For God to change the hearts of those who judge others due to the color of their skin.
  • For the sin of racism to be purged from our nation.
  • That the efforts of the Trump Administration would draw the nation closer.
