President Trump Signs Healthcare Executive Orders

One of the goals is to protect sick people from surprise medical bills.

President Donald Trump unveiled a series of executive orders on Friday aimed at protecting those with pre-existing conditions from losing health insurance coverage and preventing surprise medical bills. The president called the package of orders as an “American First Healthcare Plan.”

The orders are set to take place as the president’s administration works with Congress to repeal the Affordable Care Act. According to HHS Secretary Azar, the orders would make it U.S. policy to “provide protections to ensure that Americans with preexisting conditions are protected” and deliver “better care, more choice, and lower costs for all Americans.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president’s administration as they seek to improve the healthcare of Americans.
  • That God would lead the Department of Health and Human Services to the best ways to care for U.S. citizens.
