This morning, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will visit the Supreme Court to pay respects to the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The body of Justice Ginsburg is lying in repose at the Supreme Court today and will be moved to lie in state and the U.S. Capitol on Friday. Over the weekend, the president said, “Justice Ginsburg’s work helped bring about greater equality for women, secure rights for the disabled, and will continue to influence our Nation for generations to come.” He added, “Her legacy and contribution to American history will never be forgotten.”

In the evening, the president will travel to North Carolina where he will take part in campaign events in Charlotte. He will meet with residents and local officials and speak on issues that directly impact the state. The primary focus will be on healthcare. Peter Hoffman, the White House Director of Regional Communications, said that the president plans “to discuss his administration’s action and vision in delivering quality healthcare at low costs for the American people.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For comfort for all who are mourning the loss of Justice Ginsburg.
  • For God to be with the president and first lady as they pay their respects at the Supreme Court.
  • For wisdom for the president as he works to meet the healthcare needs of the American people.
