President Trump Releases Possible Supreme Court Picks

Promise to constituents if voted into office again.

This past week, President Trump announced that he had selected his shortlist of candidates that he would appoint to the Supreme court if there were any openings. Among those on the list are conservative Republican Senators Ted Cruz, Tom Cotton, and Josh Hawley. The president previously promised a list of Supreme Court nominations prior to his election in 2016.

President Trump assured the nation that, “Every one of these individuals will ensure equal justice, equal treatment and equal rights for citizens of every race, color, religion, and creed.” The president also warned that if Vice President Biden were elected the nation would be in danger of “radical justices” who would circumvent Congress to change the laws of the U.S.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For God’s will to be accomplished through the Supreme Court.
  • That God would preserve the health and wellbeing of the Justices of the Court.
  • For God to give the president wisdom for who to appoint to the Court.
