New Doctor Joins COVID-19 Task Force

Dr. Atlas expected to align more closely with the president.

Last week, President Trump announced that Dr. Scott Atlas would be joining the White House’s task force to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic. “Scott is a very famous man who’s also very highly respected,” President Trump said. “He has many great ideas and he thinks what we’ve done is really good.”

Dr. Atlas was formerly professor and chief of neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center. He is the Robert Wesson Senior Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, a think tank for public policy. He is an author of several books, a media health commentator, and has been a political health policy advisor. Dr. Atlas is an advocate for children returning to classrooms and for colleges to bring back their sports programs.

“I was brought in as a special adviser to the president and work with the people that are there on the task force and others who are working extremely hard on this pandemic,” Dr. Atlas said. “I’m here to work with everyone.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would use Dr. Atlas to aid the COVID-19 Task Force.
  • For President Trump as he works to bring an end to the pandemic.
  • That God would guide the COVID-19 Task Force as they help the nation recover.
