Interior Releases Big Game Conservation Program Report

$43 million invested in 11 states.

The Interior Department released a new report on its efforts to increase the conservation of big game species and their habitat on Wednesday. The report detailed the new projects started in 11 different states with over $47 million in investments in habitats and other activities. The goal is to maintain a population of animals that have been eradicated to near extinction levels.

Secretary Bernhardt expressed the importance of partnership with other local governments saying, “Great coordination with state, local and other private partners is leading to important wildlife conservation benefits related to winter range and migration corridors for elk, mule deer, and pronghorn.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For God to guide the Interior Department as they care for His creation.
  • That Secretary Bernhardt would be led by the Lord to be an effective leader.
  • That God would raise up future leaders who will preserve the environment.
