Your Driver

What you believe drives what you do!

1 Corinthians 14:33 – For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.

God’s plan for you is to experience His perfect peace every day regardless of the circumstances. Things seem to be falling apart everywhere. Life isn’t turning out as expected—or as promised by some of America’s politicians. The whole nation is having health issues. Isolations and self-quarantines, or just plain social-distancing, are creating crises in families, in businesses, and even in churches. No singing? Really? Is there a five-alarm fire going off in your heart, in your mind? You are by no means alone.

Take a tip from the humble Brother Lawrence and practice the presence of God. Be intentional in what you do, and do all to the glory of the Lord. Replace complaining with praise by shifting your focus.  Align yourself with the peace of God.  If you believe that God is Who He says He is, that He has a plan for your life, and that He is working out that plan, you will move from confusion to keeping in closer step with the Spirit of God (Galatians 5:16, 25). With your mind and heart set in what you believe, God will guide your day, fueled by His power and joy.

Pray With Us

Holy God, thank You that I can have complete daily reliance upon You in all things.  Keep me from thinking that the mundane things are worthless and let me look at them instead as worship to You.  Keep me more aware of Your presence, for I know that You are with me everywhere, not just in my quiet times but in the noisy ones, too. As this sinks in more and more, let my life be driven by Your love. I pray in Jesus’ Precious Name,

Amen.
