Administration Launches Statue Protection Task Force

Recognizing the “silent teachers” of America.

This week, President Donald Trump worked with administration officials a new task force within the Interior Department. The Task Force for Building and Rebuilding Monuments to American Heroes met with Secretary Bernhardt as the chairman. The goal of the task force is to carry out the President’s executive order to protect statues around the country from being removed.

Secretary Bernhardt signaled his support of the new program saying, “The president recognizes that statues are silent teachers in the form of stone and metal. Yesterday’s inaugural Task Force meeting following the direction of the President was a great kickoff to an exciting undertaking that will recognize our greatest citizens and protect our history for the benefit of all Americans.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would grant wisdom to the president and the task force as they work to promote the legacy of American history.
  • That the efforts of the Interior Department would help Americans forever remember the truth of history.
  • That God would help Secretary Bernhardt know how best to lead the task force.
