President Donald Trump is visiting the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, today. He will visit with doctors, nurses, hospital staff, and wounded warriors and their families. The president said that he wanted to meet with front-line workers who are fighting to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Ahead of the visit, the president highlighted that he and other staff will be taking necessary precautions to help prevent the spread of the pandemic, “I expect to be wearing a mask when I go into Walter Reed. You’re in a hospital setting. I think it’s a very appropriate thing.” He and White House staff members will practice social distancing and wear masks whenever necessary.

He is expected to return to the White House in the evening.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For safety for the president as he travels and for God to protect his health, along with the health of all who are at Walter Reed.
  • For healing and recovery for the many wounded warriors staying at the hospital.
  • For grace and comfort for the families who have loved ones staying in the hospital.
