President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will participate in a wreath laying ceremony at the Korean War Veterans Memorial to commemorate the 70th anniversary of that conflict.

President Trump will later travel to Green Bay, Wisconsin to take part in a townhall meeting and tour Fincantieri Marinette Marine. In Marinette, the president will deliver remarks regarding the Navy contract to build a new frigate with an option for 9 more. According to White House and company officials, the contract should create over a 1,000 jobs at the shipyard.

White House spokesman John Horstman said,”This action illustrates the president’s commitment to bolstering our country’s defense industrial base while underscoring a key principle of the Administration: That economic security is national security.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president and first lady as they honor those who served and gave their lives in Korea.
  • For safety as President Trump flies to Wisconsin and back.
  • For the Navy vessel building contract to successfully support economic recovery as it promotes national security.
