“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” – Romans 12:2
Fill me with the joy of knowing You today, O Almighty God. I confess that I am not always patient in affliction, nor am I patient with things that I hear in the news or on social media. Sometimes my concerns get in the way of my prayers. Help me remember to come to you first, and to be faithful to meet with you in prayer.
