President Donald Trump and members of his administration are engaged in diplomatic efforts, while assessing the progress the U.S. and Israeli strikes against Iran have made in removing the nuclear threat of the regime. The president had threatened to target Iranian power facilities if the regime did not reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

President Trump stated on Monday, “I am pleased to report that the United States of America, and the country of Iran, have had, over the last two days, very good and productive conversations regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the Middle East. Based on the tenor and tone of these in depth, detailed, and constructive conversations, which will continue throughout the week, I have instructed the Department of War to postpone any and all military strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for a five-day period, subject to the success of the ongoing meetings and discussions.“

First Lady Melania Trump’s Fostering the Future Together begins its inaugural Global Coalition Summit at the State Department today. Leaders from 45 nations and 28 best-in-class technology entities will gather for discussions on empowering children through education and technology.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

    • For wisdom for President Trump and his advisors as discussions occur with representatives from Iran.
    • For the president and members of his Cabinet to seek God’s guidance on foreign and domestic policies.
    • For Majority Leader Thune as he presides over votes on the SAVE America Act and DHS funding legislation.
