President Donald Trump will visit a manufacturing plant near Allentown, Pennsylvania, today. The president will deliver remarks at the Mack Trucks plant in Lower Macungie Township.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio is visiting the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Bahrain. State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott said, “The Secretary will discuss a range of regional priorities, including the memorandum of understanding with Iran, efforts to secure full and free safe transit through the Strait of Hormuz, and the importance of peace and stability in the region.”

The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, chaired by Senator Mike Lee of Utah, is considering nominees to the Departments of Energy and the Interior. The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, chaired by Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, is considering nominees for positions on the federal bench of the District of Columbia.
