President Welcomed Team USA for 2019 Special Olympics World Games

Commends the team for their accomplishments

President Donald Trump welcomed the 2019 Special Olympics Team USA to the White House earlier this week. He commended their accomplishments during the games and talked about how honored he and the first lady were to be there. The president congratulated them on their accomplishments and spent time talking with the team members.

Second Lady Karen Pence, who was asked to represent the U.S. on Special Olympics, also said a few words. She talked about how proud she was to lead the delegation for Special Olympics, as well as how proud she was of Team USA. CEO of Special Olympics Mary Davis also said a few words to commend Team USA.
