President to Nominate Eugene Scalia to Labor Secretary
Son of late Justice Antonin Scalia
On Thursday evening, President Trump announced his intention to nominate the son of the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia to be the next Secretary of Labor.
The president named Eugene Scalia in a tweet. He said, “Gene has led a life of great success in the legal and labor field and is highly respected not only as a lawyer, but as a lawyer with great experience working with labor and everyone else.”
The secretary position opened after Alex Acosta resigned.
