Three new judicial nominees to be sent to the Senate

President Donald Trump announced his intent to nominate three new candidates to serve as judges in the U.S. Halil "Sul" Ozerden is nominated to serve as a Circuit Judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Currently, he serves as a U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Mississippi. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

The president will also nominate John F. Kness to serve as a Judge on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Currently, Mr. Kness is the General Counsel for the College of DuPage, overseeing all legal matters. The president will also nominate Eleni M. Roumel to serve as a Judge on the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Currently, she is serving as Deputy Counsel to the U.S. Vice President.

As the Lord Leads, pray with us:
  • For these three nominees as they prepare to step into their new roles.
  • For wisdom for members of the Senate as they prepare to vote to approve these candidates.
  • For wisdom for the president, as he regularly must appoint candidates to different federal positions.
