President to Attend Summit with North Korea
Summit will take place at the end of the month
During his State of the Union address on Tuesday night, President Trump gave the latest information about his meeting with the North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un later this month. The president will be attending the two-day summit in Vietnam from February 27 through February 28. The topic for discussion will be on the continued efforts of the U.S. to assure the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
President Trump said during his speech, “Much work remains to be done, but my relationship with Kim Jong-un is a good one.” The fundamental goals of the United States have not changed since the last meeting of the two leaders last year. The president plans on pushing Kim to take concrete steps to shut down the production of a nuclear arsenal.
- For President Trump to be used by God to bring peace to the Korean peninsula.
- For those involved in the planning of the summit to work hard to get all of the details ironed out.
- For peace on the Korean peninsula.
