President Approves Disaster Declaration for Minnesota
Federal Funding to be Allotted to help Rebuild
President Donald Trump declared that a major disaster exists in the State of Minnesota. This came following severe storms and flooding that occurred between October 9 and October 11, 2018. As a result, Federal assistance will be made available for affected counties to supplement State and local recovery efforts.
Steven W. Johnson has been named as the Federal Coordinating Officer for Federal recovery operations in affected areas in Minnesota. Additional designations may be made at a later date if warranted by future damage assessments and requested by the State.
