Jared Kushner, Others, Traveling to Middle East
Will present much of Middle-East peace plan
Jared Kushner, the senior adviser to and son-in-law of President Trump, will be traveling to the Middle East in an effort to lobby Arab nations on portions of a Middle East peace plan. The president’s Special Representative for the Middle East, Jason Greenblatt, is among others who will be with Mr. Kushner.
They will present the peace plan to the U.S.-hosted conference on the Middle East held in Poland on February 13 and 14. Numerous high-level representatives, foreign ministers and heads of state from the region are expected to attend, although there will be no representatives of the Palestinian Authority, some reports say. After the meeting, the two advisers to President Trump will travel to Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and several other countries at the end of February, where they will seek a sign-off on the plan.
A full plan for peace in the region is expected to be presented by President Trump in April.
