President Bush 41 Eulogized by Bush 43
He Met the Lord with courage and joy
Numbers of dignitaries were present at the funeral of former President George H. W. Bush in Washington Wednesday. Many who spoke of his lifetime of service, were quick to talk of his dignity, humor, and kindness.
But his son, former President George W. Bush, described his father as being “instructive,” showing his children how to grow with those same qualities. He said, “When the Good Lord finally called” the president showed them “how to meet Him with courage and with the joy of the promise of what lies ahead.”
Bush 43 said that his father had a “quiet faith” and he was “sustained by the love of the Almighty” during times of trial.

That the testimony given by President George W. Bush of his father’s faith and his courage in death would inspire others to know the Lord in the way that the Bush family has.
