Justice Ginsburg Falls and Fractures Three Ribs
Currently at George Washington University Hospital recovering
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was hospitalized on Thursday following a fall at her office that fractured three of her ribs. Justice Ginsburg, who is 85 years old, went home after the fall, but reported discomfort and was admitted to George Washington University Hospital for further observation and treatment.
This is not the first time that Justice Ginsburg has broken ribs while a member of the Supreme Court. In 2012 she broke two of her ribs and didn’t miss a day of work. She had a heart procedure that year without any major complications. On top of all of that, she is a cancer survivor. The next sitting for the Court is on November 26, giving her the next two weeks to recover.
- For healing for Justice Ginsburg as she recovers from the injury.
- For wisdom for the doctors as they determine the best treatments for her and that any care would be free from complications.
- That she will be able to continue the ongoing work of the High Court.
