Twin wildfires are currently burning in California, and together are being treated as the largest wildfire in California history. Officials report that there are about 11,300 buildings that are in danger of the flames. In response to the growing disaster, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has offered disaster assistance to those affected by the blaze.
Currently, seven people, including two firefighters, have lost their lives to the fires. The fires are only 47% contained and are expected to burn throughout the month. President Trump addressed the growing issue in California on Twitter stating that it is vital for water to be available to fight the flames.
