Can I get the Weekly Updates earlier? I want to use them in my Church's bulletin.
Thank you for your interest in The Presidential Prayer Team. The weekly updates are prepared with a very short turn-around to make them as timely as possible. The update and the email teaser are usually posted and sent bymidnight on Wednesday or early in the morning Thursday in an effort to make them ready for Sunday bulletins. Members can also access daily prayer concerns on the PPT home page.
How can I change my email address?
For your convenience, you now have the ability to make changes to your profile and address directly. Simply click here and follow the directions. If you have not selected a password, select 'Option 2: Activate' to set up an account. When you enter your old mail and email address it should find you in the system. You can then make any necessary changes.

Can I use content from your website for my church or prayer group?
You are welcome to use content from the PPT website for the purpose of prayer or inspiration. The great majority of photographs are public domain and should be credited using the same wording in the credits on the PPT website.

How can my church become involved?
Please have your pastor or church administrator contact Member Services at 1-866-433-PRAY. We need administrative permission to sign up an organization. Please visit the Church Resources page of the web site for other ways to promote the team through your church. Thank you.

To sign up for The Presidential Prayer Team, please click on the Join Now link. Team members who sign up will receive regular updates and a window decal to serve as a continuous reminder to uphold the President and our nation in prayer. You may also sign up by calling 1-866-433-PRAY.

Presidential Prayer Team for Kids launched September 1, 2002 with the dual goals of teaching children of their responsibility to pray and sharing with them the inspirational stories of our nation’s godly heritage. The site is interactive, colorful and fun. Used by many homeschool families and Christian educators, it is a vital effort that will help change the future by touching the lives of children today. Who are you really?
The Presidential Prayer Team is an independent, non-profit organization funded through the contributions of our members. The largest prayer-related Internet Ministry Provider, it exists in perpetuity to support whoever occupies the Oval Office, regardless of affiliation. It holds no affiliation with any political or religious organizations, nor will it ever be used for political purposes. The Presidential Prayer Team is not endorsed or supported by the White House, nor does it receive any government funds.
The Presidential Prayer Team is operated by an independent Board of Directors. None of the Directors are paid for their participation on the Board. The Board reviews finances and makes all major decisions in relation to the operation of this effort. Anyone seeking a financial report may request one from our Member Services Department at 1-866-433-PRAY. The PPT is a nonprofit, charitable 501(c)3 organization.
Where do you get your information?
The Presidential Prayer Team editorial staff compiles the weekly updates from a number of helpful sources, seeking the most up-to-date information on the concerns which affect our president, his cabinet, our nation and the Armed Forces.
Who is welcome on this prayer team?
All are welcome to join the efforts of The Presidential Prayer Team. Our unique and only focus is on prayer. We provide ideas and resources to assist our members as they pray, encouraging them to do so regularly. There is no age limit for membership, and children, especially, are encouraged to pray through the efforts of The Presidential Prayer Team for Kids.
How do I know what radio stations your program is on?
We have more information available on our website. Please visit the American Inspirations Radio Programs section of our webpage for local listings and stations. If your local station is not currently airing the program, please ask them to e-mail us at media@presidentialprayerteam.org. Thanks.
Why do you need money?
Membership in The Presidential Prayer Team will always remain free. There is no obligation to donate to this effort however; those who believe in the mission of the PPT are encouraged to help support it. While prayer itself is a cost-free endeavor, our small, efficient staff, office and website each involve significant expense.
As we remind and motivate our members to pray through the website, snail mail, American Inspirations Radio, Adopt Our Troops and our new Ambassador program, we encounter expenses related to these efforts. We also encounter expenses in the recruitment of new members. The Presidential Prayer Team communicates with millions each week sharing weekly prayer updates for the President and our nation.
Our prayer reminders are a great way to help support the PPT. These useful items—ranging from coffee mugs to refrigerator magnets to military-style dog tags and books—are available as appreciation gifts when you donate to PPT. 100% of all donations are used to help further the growth of The Presidential Prayer Team.

Is this effort affiliated with any political party, elected official or governmental agency?
The Presidential Prayer Team is a prayer effort by the American people and other concerned people around the world. It is not affiliated with any political party or official. It gains no direction or support, official or unofficial, from the current administration, from any agency of the government or from any political party, so that it may be free and unencumbered to equally serve the prayer needs of all current and future leaders of our great nation. The Presidential Prayer Team exists in perpetuity for whoever occupies the Oval Office.
What is the goal?
The goal of The Presidential Prayer Team was to enlist 1% of the American population or 2.8 million people, to pray for the President, both this administration and future administrations. This goal was reached on May 1, 2003, just 600 days after The Presidential Prayer Team was launched. It is our sincere belief that this effort works to deeply impact the present and future of our country as our President and our nation are prayed for on a daily basis.
Is this a national effort?
Yes, The Presidential Prayer Team is a national effort to seek the commitment of Americans to pray daily for our president, his cabinet the nation and our Armed Forces. We also have members and prayer partners in over 100 countries worldwide.
How is the effort funded?
The Presidential Prayer Team is an independent, nonprofit, non-partisan organization. It is funded by the gifts of our members who support its ongoing efforts. We receive no funding from the government or any other organization.
Did the President start this effort?
The current president welcomes and encourages prayer however The Presidential Prayer Team is an independent organization with no direct ties to the White House or the current administration.
Is there a fee for joining?
No, there is no fee for membership in The Presidential Prayer Team.
When I sign up, what will you do with my name?
You will receive weekly prayer updates and occasional opportunities to give to this effort. Your name will not be sold or shared with any other organization. All names will be kept confidential and will never be used for any other purpose.
What are the benefits of membership?
As a member of The Presidential Prayer Team, you join a growing movement of people who believe that prayer can and does affect the affairs of our nation, and in turn, the world. By adding your prayer efforts to those of millions of others, you have the privilege of knowing that you are changing history by honoring the scriptural mandate of I Timothy 2:1-2 to pray for your leaders and all those in authority. You will receive the most accurate, up-to-date information on prayer for the President and the nation via email each week.
In addition, Team members receive a window decal to serve as a continuous reminder to uphold the President in prayer and to signify their commitment to pray. Members also receive weekly email prayer updates listing prayer needs for the President and the nation along with answers to prayer for our troops. Members also have the benefit of participating in the other vital efforts of the PPT including Adopt Our Troops, Pray the Vote and the PPT Ambassadors program. In addition, members have the occasional opportunity to express birthday or other greetings to the President and the First Lady. Through membership in the PPT, you know that you are remaining at the cutting edge of prayer for the nation, changing the future of America in ways that may never be known.

It holds no affiliation with any political or religious organizations, nor will it ever be used for political purposes.

When I support this effort with my financial gifts, where does my donation go?
Donations to The Presidential Prayer Team are directed by an independent voluntary Board of Directors. Funds are used to support our small and efficient staff including the Member Services office and computer operation, the Adopt Our Troops effort, the American Inspirations radio program, The Presidential Prayer Team for Kids effort, the PPT Ambassadors program and more. The annual budget for the entire operation is approximately $1.5 million. An audited financial statement is available shortly after the close of each year.
